I visited a large Boots store in Birmingham city centre and had my face tested and matched. Unsurprisingly I was matched to the lightest shade which is Calico. I’ve always had trouble finding a foundation which didn’t make my face look bright orange. I’ve tried various foundation from Rimmel in the lightest shade and found that I was left with orange foundation lines. The Boots Match Made Service was very quick and easy and the consultant asked me questions about certain qualities in a foundation I wanted so she could match me with the perfect foundation.
I was matched with the No7 Stay Perfect liquid foundation. This foundation is medium coverage and applies flawlessly, which gives a great all-day coverage. I would recommend this foundation to anyone who wants a flawless looking foundation which hides imperfections but also looks natural. It’s a perfect foundation for school as it doesn’t look like you have went ‘over the top’.
